Open letter to the Golden State Warriors Franchise

I have been a solid die hard Warriors fan since I was in the single digits. Going back to when Bernard King used to live around the corner from me in Maxwell Park in the mid eightys. Fastforward to me buying season tickets year after year. The amount of money spent in my immediate friend circle alone on Warriors games gives me the boldness to write this letter. I’m sick of faking like we HAVE a team every season, when we don’t. We trade our great players EVERY FUCKING season. We trade our young players with GREAT  promise EVERY FUCKING season.

This last season watching the Lakers Fans celebrate their championship in my city and having close friends that are Laker fans throwing that shit in my face made me want to throw up in my mouth. Not because I am jealous of them, but because there is nobody ever making REAL DRASTIC moves in the Warriors organization.

I know we have a new owner, (applause) but I don’t want to be on the Obama plan and have to wait 4 years until some shit happens. Get creative, push your staff, push your team,  find a leader and STEP UP. We did it in ‘06 and guess what? 07 we traded key players…The bay has a reputation for having the STUPIDEST fans. We will be loyal regardless of how FUCKED UP the owners are…

I love the Warriors. I love Basketball. Give me team I can be proud of. Take care of your fans. The very next season after we went to the playoffs, you upped the prices of season tickets dramatically!! After years of supporting you when the stands were so empty  we could pick our own seat! If you dont’ change, over time you will lose more support, the more shit you pull like that, you will be stuck with fearweather fans, fans that show up only to support the OTHER team or people only going because they got free tickets from their job. Get your shit together.
